Orange Celebration 2008 in its Fourth Year, Deemed Another Success!

For the 4th year in a row, the OTBA put on an incredible, well-received and turned-out event! And of course, what would our 4th of July be without RAIN! Many OTBA members got involved and participated in the parade. Many of our sponsors came on board early this year which helped make the parade-planning go smoother.

We would like to thank our title sponsor, Scott Grotelueschen of Associated Financial Services for taking on the primary sponsorship. Thank you, Scott!

Dr. Kevin Young of Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and Terri Brennan and The Huntington Bank have taken the Gold sponsorships. Silver sponsors are Postnet, Jazzercise, NorthPointe Dance Academy, Elite Physiques, and Taranto’s Pizzeria.

This year we celebrated our schools to say "hello" and "good-bye" to key people in the Olentangy School District. Among those who appeared in the Celebration were Mindy Farry, principal of Olentangy who is retiring and Tom McDonnell, her replacement Tribute was also given to Scott Davis, former superintendent who has retired early due to ALS. We also rolled out a big "Welcome" for the new Orange High School and its the new principal, Todd Meyer, and his family.

All general meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Orange Township Hall.
