

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can submit a photo to this contest? You must currently reside in Orange Township (have a street address; PO Box is not a street address.) This is a contest by and for our community. There are no other requirements or restrictions.
Can my photo be of something/someone not in Orange Township? No, all photos must be taken in Orange Township, and the person, place or thing must be in Orange Township. Potential winners may have to verify this information before final selections are made. There might be exceptions, for example, as when you take a photo of a sunset. Obviously the sun and clouds are not in Orange Township. As long as you are in Orange Township taking the photo it would qualify. If you have any questions, please contact us.
How do I submit a photo to this contest? Go to our photo contest Sign Up page located here. Complete the Participation Form by providing information requested for all questions. Select which category to post your entry. Write a brief description of the photo (for example, where it was taken, what it means to you, etc.) Select your photo entry from your hard drive or external device on your computer (click Browse and you will see your computer’s folders. Find the image file and click on it. A link to the file will be established so it will attach to our form.) Read and then click on the ‘Rules of Acceptance’ button. Type in the security word as posted (if you can’t read it, you can click on audio and it will spell it for you.). Check to make sure you have completed all lines, then click the ‘Submit’ button. Depending on your image size, please allow a minute for image to upload. You will then be directed to our ‘Thank you for submitting an entry...’ page.
I completed the Participation Form and submitted/attached my photo, but didn’t go to the ‘Thank you for submitting an entry...’ page. How do I know my entry was received by you? You will receive an email confirmation that we received your entry. See next answer as to what to do.
When will my entry be posted on the contest? Depending on how many entries we receive, all we can say is ‘as soon as possible’. We expect entries, once approved, will be visible on the contest site within 24-48 hours. If you entry is not posted within 3 days and you haven’t heard from us, please contact us here.
Why can’t I just submit my entry directly to the photo contest site? We agree this would make things a whole lot easier for everyone involved, but because of the potential of someone submitting a photo that is lewd, crude or rude, and our contest is family-oriented (G-Rated), we will review all entries before it is submitted to the contest and visible to the public.
Why can’t I see any entries on the photo contest page? Our software has been tested extensively on different versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. Please use either of these browsers if possible.
Why can’t I vote or leave comments on the photo contest site? You must register on the photo contest site. This is separate from completing the Participation Form. Go to the photo contest site here, and in the gallery window, you will see the option to Register. Click on that option, complete short form and submit. You will need to confirm your email address so please use an active, real email address. Go to your email account, click on confirmation link in email, and you’re done. Log on to the photo contest, and vote for your favorite photos. You can vote ONE (1) time per photo, but can change your ranking (1 being lowest, 5 being highest) as many times as you want. You can also comment on any photos, but comments are logged by who posts it, and any offensive or inappropriate comments will be removed.
