Welcome and Introductions
Dinner was sponsored by Optimal Eye Care. Members and guests enjoyed sandwiches, chips, cookies and refreshments.
Charity Raffle - Participants had opportunity to purchase tickets for prizes, with proceeds going to the Powell Sertoma Club’s holiday dinner for the poor. Four winners selected from a different prizes. A total of $30 was raised. Thanks for everyone’s participation.
Letter From Santa - Julie Riber offered updates on the upcoming Letter From Santa project to benefit a local charity. The Delaware Senior Center agreed to volunteer their time to assist in writing letters. Project will be promoted through child care center’s, library, newspaper and web site.
Dr. John Moore offered overview of upcoming Networking Bingo. Three members volunteered to help with project. Other announcements were provided by Darryl Bell, President of OTBA.
Presentation by representatives of the Lewis Center/Polaris Rotary Club regarding their mission, accomplishments and benefits were presented.
Dr Lori Engler, O.D., owner of the Optimal Eye Care facility sponsored November’s meeting. Members enjoyed a presentation about eye care, plus tour of her new eye care facility. OTBA members enjoyed food and refreshments, networked with other members, and found out about upcoming meetings and events. It was a fun and resourceful evening!
