About Orange Celebration
Orange Township was named as one of the fastest growing townships in the United States
in 2005. The growth of the township has led to the development of community, neighbors,
and friendships. In the Fall of 2004, neighbors got together with a vision to bring
together the diverse economic, racial, social and economic components of Orange Township
through a celebration of Freedom. On July 4, Orange Township will celebrate its community
at the Annual Independence Day Celebration! The celebration includes a PARADE, a
FOUR MILE RUN, then FIREWORKS at Alum Creek to wrap up the day! The Celebration will
have a tremendously positive impact on how people who live in Orange Township and
its surrounding communities see and feel about this community. The excitement and
goodwill it will generate is lasting. In effect, by turning a large and diverse township
into a small community for just one day, the Celebration will pioneer a sense of
hometown.
